Adding a New Member to a Department

Select 'Department list' from the Departments menu.

Click on the department you would like to add the user to.

(Steps 1 and 2 can be omitted in favour of selecting the department from the HOPS home page, where available.)

We have chosen to add a user to the diesel department.

Click on "Staff Contact List".

You will now see another table with details of the users in that department.

Now click on the tab 'Add a New User to the Department'.

Now you can select the user you want to add from the drop down menu.

On the second drop down menu you can select what you would like the system to do after this user has been added, either to add another user or to go back to the main list.

Don't forget to click on 'Save'



HOPS is continually being developed and updated. Sometimes the screen shots in these help files might lag behind the most up-to-date views of the screens. Generally, however, the functionality of the page will be the same, albeit with a slightly different format or layout.
