Update 1002 02 August 2023	TIMETABLES - BRAKING AND ACCELERATING TIMES There are a small number of timing points in the timetables system in HOPS that still have braking and accelerating allowances. These are being removed imminently, which will alter the times of trains that call at these stations (as the allowance for braking and accelerating will no longer be consdiered). If you have locations that still have braking and accelerating allowances please could you remove these, and include the time in the sectional running time instead. If all your timing points already have a zero for braking and accelerating, no action required. Thank you (Previously advertised in updates 971, 974 and 988)
Update 988 30 April 2023	BRAKING AND ACCELERATING TIMES: If you have braking or accelerating allowances in your timetable settings: https://www.hops.org.uk/timing_points.php Please could we ask you to remove these (and incorporate the time into your SRTs if required)? Braking and accelerating times will not be supported for much longer, and when they stop being supported they will no longer be included in timing calculations in base timetables, so the times will change. (If you are not using the timetables part of HOPS in earnest then you can ignore this request.)
