Update 1058 25 April 2024 | SPOT REPORTS The attribution of Spot Reports to NMIs, Function Logs and Asset Defects is now controlled by new permission 523. Everyone and every group that has 437 has been allocated 523 so no action = no change. The separation of these permissions enables users to be able to view Spot Reports without having access to the Update and Attribute facilities. This can be achieved by allocating only 437 and not 523 (or by removing 523) to the groups for which it is required. Thank you to the Llangollen Railway for the suggestion. |
Update 1059 25 April 2024 | SPOT REPORTS A Spot Report widget is now on the Home page for easy overview access. It is shown for users with P437. |
Update 758 4 May 2021 | The first stage of a Near Miss / Hazard reporting system now in HOPS - new permission 436 and 437 apply. A new menu option will appear in the 'Logs' menu (for now). At present, users with 436 can report near misses and view their own. Users with 437 can view the inbox and receive an email when a new report is received. Incoming Near Miss / Hazard reports can be attributed to an NMI, defect or function log. |
Update 437 22 February 2017 | Some basic functions to assist in the management of employees working shifts have been implemented. New permissions: 265 - to assign users to an 'employee pool' 264 - to view the shifts of employees (per pool) 266 - to edit the shifts of employee (per pool) A 'pool' is a group of employees. Permissions are granted per pool, and are almost the equivalent of departments except that a user can only belong to one pool. I've used SHIFT as the word to describe a person working, to keep TURN for a thing on a roster. (A person could be working a shift AND a turn, ie and employee driving a train.) A new menu "Employees" is available with a menu option "Employee Shifts" which is a matrix of shifts. Clicking edit under a name will allow you to edit the whole month for that single person, or clicking edit on a date will allow you to edit all the people on that single date. |
