File Uploads on Apple Devices We are aware of an issue affecting some users uploading images and files to HOPS from iPhones and iPads. We have investigated this and identified the cause as a bug in WebKit, the browser technology used by browsers on iOS and iPadOS. In affected circumstances, the browser attempts to upload a file but sends the request without the file data, causing the upload to fail. This is not specific to a particular image or file type and may affect various file upload facilities within HOPS. The issue has been reported to WebKit and a fix is currently being worked on. Unfortunately, the underlying problem is outside HOPS and will ultimately need to be resolved through an update to WebKit/iOS. We have added a warning to affected file upload facilities in HOPS. In the meantime, if you encounter this problem, using a private/incognito browser tab may allow the upload to work. Alternatively, please use a non-affected device to complete the upload. We will continue to monitor the WebKit issue and will remove the warning in HOPS when the problem has been resolved.
