| Update 1393 5 February 2026 | HOPS Comms emails (Resolved)(Resolved)We are working on an issue with sending of emails relating to HOPS Comms messages. We will fix this as soon as possible. No messages have been lost, and we don't expect any emails to be lost either. Thank you for your patience. Further background: As part of major overhaul work taking place this January (timed to avoid the busiest times for most railways) we undertook work to resolve the 'sending overnight emails more than once' problem, which was a safeguard introduced to re-try emails that failed to send. [Unfortunately a side-effect was that a false-positive 'fail to send' resulted in a re-try too...] This work involved alterations to background functions that happen without making the user wait, such as sending of HOPS Comms emails. Thank you to everyone for your patience during all this work. We are trying to minimise the 'short term pain' and maximise the 'long term gain'. |
