Symbols and Codes on Rosters
Codes and symbols by the turn details: - A code in round-brackets by the turn details indicates the competence level of the turn. This uses the short-code letters set in the competence level in the competence structure of the department. If the competence level is suffixed by a '+' then the turn requires someone of that level 'or better' or 'at least that level'. If the level is suffixed by an '=' then the turn requires someone of exactly that level. - An M by the turn details indicates the turn was manually created. - A number in square brackets with a 'P', ie '[P6]', indicates the priority order for covering that turn by the auto-assign feature.
Codes and symbols by the user details: - An M by the user's name indicates the turn was manually assigned. - An R by the user's name indicates the turn was assigned by reserve-roll-up. - A ◈ by the user's name indicates that the person is employed. - A club symbol by the turn details indicates that 'click to volunteer' has been disabled.
HOPS is continually being developed and updated. Sometimes the screen shots in these help files might lag behind the most up-to-date views of the screens. Generally, however, the functionality of the page will be the same, albeit with a slightly different format or layout.
