Click on 'Community' from the main menu.

Now click on 'Add a New User'.

Fill in the new user's details.

Various fields will be available depending on the configuration of the railway.

There is the option to select 'Offline' or 'Live' user.

1) 'Offline User' means that this profile belongs to a person who will not be issued with a user name and password to access HOPS. This is appropriate for staff without internet access or for railways/departments where only the managers access HOPS and then send output to staff manually.

2) 'Live User' means that this profile belongs to a person who will require access to HOPS. The user will be e-mailed a user name and password automatically to gain access to the site.

When the required details have been entered, click on 'Save'.


HOPS is continually being developed and updated. Sometimes the screen shots in these help files might lag behind the most up-to-date views of the screens. Generally, however, the functionality of the page will be the same, albeit with a slightly different format or layout.
